Our Philosophy

"Jim Hyde" owner
of RawHyde Adventures

I'm Jim Hyde and I would like to introduce you to what we do here at RawHyde Adventures. If you are interested in getting involved in the world of Moto-Adventure you've come to the right place. From our training schools to our tour programs we can immerse you in adventure opportunities.

For us,"authentic adventure" is really just a way of life, overnight camping at an old ghost town, visiting historic mining sites or exploring trails so far off the beaten path that we see no but our fellow riders for days on end.

If you want to get away from it all, and see parts of the world that few others do. join us for one of our special adventure programs. One of our special adventures is our "Copper Canyon expedition" which is a 12 day trip that showcases the best of Mexico "offroad". Click here to learn more.

Our US tours and events are special too. Our Adventure Rallies are in a class of their own. Our rallies epitomize the whole adventure lifestyle. They are usually 3 days of adventure fun in really unusual, adventurous locations. Camping, great food, and lots of great riding give you a whole new appreciation for your choice of motorcycle.

The center piece of our operation is our unique "Safari Camp" We can and do provide hotel level services and accommodations with our special trucks anywhere we go.

The world of Adventure does not revolve around towns, hotels and restaurants, Adventure lies just beyond the next jagged hilltop, or within the flickering ring of lite around a campfire. Adventure definitely begins where the "pavement ends"

Here at RawHyde we use the word "Safari" to describe our way of life... and our style of doing things.

  1. The word "safari" provides an image of spine tingling adventure, fireside camaraderie, and comfort.
  2. At our training school the "Safari Camp" is your home for the time you are with us and provides a fun and unusual way to spend a long weekend.
  3. On tour base camp moves daily, providing hot showers, air conditioned bedrooms, gourmet meals, and all the service of a great hotel… in the badlands !

The word "Safari" is originally from the Swahili language, and means a hunting trip or expedition, supported by a caravan which provides comfort for the members of the expedition. That's exactly what we are about here at RawHyde Adventures, adventure & comfort "in the backcountry".
