California Adventure Rally
(Details)

RALLY SCHEDULE:


Thursday (April 27th):

  • 4:00 PM - The Rally will officially open
  • 7:00 PM - Welcome & Orientation
  • 7:30 PM - Welcome Bar B'Q dinner
  • 8:30 to 9:00PM - Fireside Chat with Jim from RawHyde Adventures, and the official talking about the various riding options for Saturday, safety issues, and question answer session.

Friday (April 28th):

  • 7:00 to 8:30 AM - Breakfast Americana
  • 9:00 AM - Jim from RawHyde Adventures will be offering a 30 minute overview of safe "off road riding tips", and area overviews for the days ride.
  • 9:30 AM - All Adventure rides begin!
    If you have signed up for a half day ride... You'll be back for lunch and a chance for a 2nd ride before sunset. And the all day groups will have lunch "on the trail" and will be back in camp for happy hour.
  • 7:30 PM - Dinner, followed by a Movie " The worlds fastest Indian "Starring Anthony Hopkins" (yes its a motorcycle movie)

Saturday (April 29th):

  • 7:00 to 8:30 AM - Breakfast
  • 9:00 to 9:30 AM - For those that are interested Jim Hyde will lead a guided ride along the old wells fargo stage trail to Great Falls, with stop at some property recently acquired by RawHyde which will be the home of RawHydes new "Desert Adventure Center"
  • 7:30 PM - Dinner followed by a fireside chat and slideshow by Anne "Moto-Diva" Girardin. You may remember Anne from last years rally, as she was just preparing for a journey from Prudhoe Bay Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina. She's back home with some great stories to tell.

Sunday (April 30th):

  • 7:00 to 8:30 AM - Breakfast
  • 9:00 to 9:30 AM - Pack up and head for Home

ACCOMODATIONS:

Camping included with entry fee, tents, motor home's, and campers welcome at rally venue!

Local hotels are available.



What to Bring:

If you are camping;

- Sleeping bag & pad
- Tent & ground cloth
- Folding chair or stool
- Clothes and personal items
- A towel, soap and shampoo
- Sandals to wear to the shower
- A Flashlite



For your comfort:

- There will be a first aid station.

- There will be toilets on site.

- A Water truck will be available for outdoor showers - open 5 to 7 each day.

- As always we will have a beer tent offering a locally brewed beer. Last year Mojave Red, rattlesnake ale was a big hit, so its back for 06'.

- We will have a beer tent offering a locally brewed "sidewinder ale" and "rattlesnake red" beer.

- All meals are provided, and special needs (within our abilities) will be met. .
