Support Truck details

2006 F450 4 wheel drive crew cab chassis.

Custom support truck body containing :

  • Full mechanical "bay" with tools, spare parts, tubes, oil and lubricants etc.
  • 2Kw Generator
  • 200 gallon water tank with water heater for evening showers, and kitchen clean up.
  • "galley equipment" stove, grill etc.
  • Complete field first aid compartment, incl. Burn kit, Oxygen, splints, and "back board"
  • 16,000 lb. winch for self extraction or recovery requirements.
  • Luggage rack

We do the planning, the cooking, the clean up, we will set up the camp and provide all the food and beverages, all you need to do is show up and have fun. RawHyde Explores trips are focused in those "out of the way places" that don't have any "services" nearby so it'll be really nice to have those creature comforts at the end of a hard day of riding.

2007 Calendar

January: Ride the incredible Mojave National Preserve. See Lava tubes, the Hole in the wall, the largest Joshua tree forest in the world and more

February: Ride Baja Mexico. Explore the land of the Baja 1000, and understand why this is the ultimate "playground" for Adventure Riders.

March: Explore the Anza Borrego area. We'll ride Sandstone canyon, and explore the "windcaves" as well as one of the most primeval landscapes on the planet.

April: Cerra Gordo & The Saline Valley Road. One of the most amazing rides of the year. Find out why this tiny ghost town had a defining role in the development of Los Angeles.

May: The RawHyde History ride. RawHyde's owner was raised in the Panamint valley, spend this weekend with Jim Hyde, and explore those "out of the way" places that only a local ever finds out about. The Panamint valley is one of the most remarkable Adventure Riding places in the state.

June: The Piute Mountain Experience: The absolute essence of GS riding.

July: Coyote Flats & Patriarchs grove, Our most dramatic adventure - the two highest possible rides in California. Advanced riders only.



Prices:

RawHyde Explores trips will range in price from $495 to $695 depending on trip structure and lodging type.

True Camping:
$495 per person

Hub and Spoke:
$495 per person (with own equip.)
$595 per person in Safari Tent.

Hotel based trips:
$695 per person - double occupancy.
(single supplement applies)
