Welcome to RawHyde Explores

RawHyde Explores is our new for 2007 "small group rides program" designed to help you get the maximum enjoyment from "Adventure Riding!

The biggest attraction of adventure riding is going to those beautiful "out of the way places" that the masses never visit. The inconvenience that goes along with such a trip; whether you ride alone or with friends is that it's hard to carry much in the way of creature comforts. When you plan a ride you are faced with a two options, do you race out to the spot you want to see, enjoy it for a while, and then leave in time to get back to a hotel. If you don't go back to a hotel, perhaps you'll "rough camp" - usually that means no ice, no campfire, canned food & only enough water to brush your teeth. But if you would like a 3rd option please consider joining us on an "Explores Trip".

RawHyde explores will be going to those "amazing places" you have always heard about, (and some you haven't ) and we'll provide all the necessities for comfort while you focus on riding.

We realize that most folks have demanding & complicated lives, thus taking the time to plan, pack & execute a trip can sometimes be too much work, especially if you can't find anyone to go with you! Its really not much fun riding by yourself, and having no one to appreciate the journey with! We'll take all the difficulty out of having a great "Adventure weekend" with a small group of "like minded riders".

"RawHyde Explores" offers a series of monthly rides that are "pure adventure" RawHyde style. We have different "formats" for these adventures. Some will truly define the term "roughing it", while others will have more amenities. Some trips will be designed to introduce new "off roaders" to the concepts of adventure riding, while others will be loosely structured "expeditions' that are tailored more toward the advanced rider.

However since these are RawHyde events you can be certain of one thing ! Each and every trip will have phenomenal support & great food that make RawHyde trips uncommonly special. We have recently purchased a unique 4 wheel drive support truck which has everything that we need to keep you comfortable in the back country. Click here for details and pricing.



RawHyde is very excited about the "Explores" program, and is investing in new equipment to provide the best possible experiences for our customers. We just received our new 4 wheel drive support truck for the explores trips. Its a true "safari vehicle" - a unique 4 wheel drive truck which has everything that we need to keep you comfortable in the back country.

Explores trip formats:

These adventures will be conducted in one of three formats.

True camping: These will be the rugged back country trips. We will be going deep into the back country, everyone will use their own camping equipment, and we may "move" each day, spending the next night in another beautiful and unique location.

Hub and Spoke camping: For these trips we will set up a more elaborate camp. We won't be moving each day so we will bring our Safari trailer, which has 8 Italian made "Safari tents" mounted on it. You can camp with your own tent, or use ours (for a small fee) if you don't want to haul and set up your own tent.

Hotel based trips: Some trips will be hotel based, with breakfast and dinners taken at restaurants. This will be for the "longer distance" rides where we simply won't have the time at days end to set up a nice camping environment.
