Our Adventure Rider training classes prepare our clients to travel anywhere in the world that their personal circumstances allow. Graduates of our programs have used their motorcycles to travel from Alaska to the tip of Tierra Del Fuego in South America, they have trans-navigated Africa, been to Namibia, Oman, New Zealand, Vietnam and more …. We believe that there is no finer resource for the adventure motorcyclist than Horizons Unlimited. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com This "company" is primarily a website that provides lots of great information to the “Traveler” additionally, they host a series of "travelers meetings" in various regions throughout the world. These meetings serve as a clearing house of information for folks that are in the middle of an "epic journey" and also a source of inspiration for those that are planning a major trip. I attended the H. U. travelers meeting in Mexico last October, and will be leading a ride back to Mexico this fall. It was an awesome event, and something that I think anyone would profit from.
Regarding the H.U. website, its "depth" is unbelievable. It is to my mind the finest source of information and "community" in the world for the adventure rider. After you have had a chance to take one of our training classes and you are planning that "big ride". I think that you would be well served by spending some time on the Horizons Unlimited site.
